As a passionate Senior Leader with more than 20 years of experience in managing technology for industry leading businesses, Phil’s career is focused on extracting value from Technology investment to enable business outcomes.
His diverse background across industry sectors including Mining, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Wine & Brewery, Utilities, Transport & Logistics provides him with a depth of knowledge to draw on in solving complex business challenges in order to create sustained value utilising technology as the key enabler.
With experience in Technology strategy, delivery and operations, his key focus is ensuring Board and Executive transparency and oversight of technology investment and management within organisations to ensure investment is focused on business benefits and risk is managed including cyber security risk.
He has the philosophy in business “culture eats strategy for breakfast”. Strategy is important to focus energy and resources however his belief is that organisational culture is what delivers results. He applies a coaching and empowering approach in growing, developing and leading teams.
