In 2021 Cathara was engaged by OccuMED to develop a Technology Strategy & Roadmap. OccuMED provide Medical services primarily to the resources and Oil & Gas sectors. In 2020 the organisation was undergoing significant growth within its services due to the mining boom as well as the restrictions caused by COVID-19 in accessing key resources. For its clients, the speed of OccuMeds ability to deliver the pre-employment medical services became a key strategic differentiator in the market, however its technology platforms were causing bottlenecks in their processes. To address the key business challenges Cathara developed a Technology Strategy and Roadmap based on customer experience journey mapping to remove bottlenecks and deliver a superior customer experience as a strategic commercial differentiator in the market.
